AI Is the Future. Here's How Sollis Is Using It.

While current AI platforms can't replace a physician's evaluation, they can be powerful tools when used thoughtfully.

Artificial intelligence is everywhere in medicine right now, and for good reason: research consistently shows that AI tools, when thoughtfully applied, can meaningfully support a physician's work. But how an organization chooses to apply that potential reveals a lot about its values, especially in an industry where the human touch is getting harder to come by.

While many health systems are deploying AI to handle more patients, faster, we're taking a different path. We're focused on deepening the quality of every interaction, not increasing their quantity. Whenever Sollis adapts a technology—from lab tests to health information exchange networks—we put our members' experience first so they can count on care that's not just clinically excellent, but dedicated to their comfort and convenience.

How We're Using AI to Improve Our Concierge Care

After careful consideration, we've begun integrating OpenEvidence, an AI platform designed for healthcare providers, into our clinical workflow. Here's what that looks like in practice:

More thorough evaluations with AI-assisted notetaking

During in-person visits, OpenEvidence transcribes your encounter in real time—not just capturing what's said, but enriching your clinician's notes with relevant guidelines and recommendations as the conversation unfolds. That means our physicians aren't splitting their attention between you and a keyboard. After your visit, your clinician can continue asking questions within OpenEvidence with all of your patient context automatically included, so follow-up is faster, smarter, and more connected to what was actually discussed in the room.

Better diagnostics grounded in peer-reviewed research

OpenEvidence draws on over 300 peer-reviewed medical journals—including The New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA—as well as FDA and CDC guidance and clinical guidelines from leading specialty organizations. When our clinicians have a complex or ambiguous case, they can query OpenEvidence in plain language and receive evidence-based answers that are sourced and cited, not generated from a black box. This spans more than 160 medical specialties and 1,000 diseases and therapeutic areas, a depth of knowledge no single clinician could remember on their own. With regards to your care, our physicians and clinicians always make the final call, but AI helps ensure that nothing gets missed and every option has been considered.

Faster, more accurate treatment through AI-powered imaging

For imaging studies, AI helps the Sollis team automatically detect, prioritize, and triage critical findings for issues like tumors, strokes, and fractures, bringing time-sensitive information to the top. This matters enormously in a concierge setting, where rapid, accurate diagnosis is part of the promise we make to our members. Paired with OpenEvidence's clinical decision support, our clinicians can move from scan to treatment plan with confidence, knowing both the imaging findings and the supporting literature are at their fingertips the moment they're needed.

No Shortcuts. Just Solutions.

While some healthcare providers may use AI as a shortcut, at Sollis it's just one of many tools our doctors utilize to deliver the best care at a moment's notice. In every instance, AI serves a clear purpose: freeing our exceptional clinicians spend more time and energy on you, and less on administrative overhead.

Technology will always evolve, but our commitment to our members' comfort and convenience never changes. At Sollis, AI will always be in service of the relationship between you and your concierge care team, not a replacement for it.
